Returns & Cancellation

Please be aware that due to the artisanal nature of our handwoven products, each item is unique, and we usually have just one of each kind available. Additionally, our fabrics are of pure quality, and their delicate weaves necessitate careful handling. As a result, we can only entertain cancellations, returns, or exchanges under exceptional circumstances.

Cancellations

It is possible to cancel your order before it has been shipped, provided that no custom additions like tassels or fall pico have been incorporated upon your request. If you do cancel, you will receive a credit equal to your order’s value, which you can use for a future purchase on our website. Alternatively, if you prefer a refund, any associated bank or payment gateway processing fees will be your responsibility and will be subtracted from the total amount before the refund is processed.

Please note that only unstitched garments such as saris, stoles, and dupattas are eligible for cancellations. Orders for fabrics and ready-made garments cannot be cancelled.

Returns

We will accept returns solely in the event of a manufacturing defect or if an incorrect item was dispatched. While we strive to accurately depict product colors on our website, minor variations between the website image and the actual product may arise due to factors like lighting, picture angle, and fabric nature. Such variations do not qualify as reasons for return. Please be aware that apparel, garments, and fabrics are not eligible for returns. If you find that your order’s packaging appears tampered with, damaged, or unsealed upon delivery, we advise you not to accept the parcel and refrain from opening it.

Instead, immediately get in touch with us at info@katansilk.com and call us at +91 7900400907. In the unlikely scenario of receiving damaged merchandise, you must email us a photo of the damaged packaging along with your return request as outlined in step 3. Upon receipt of your return request, we will review it and provide return/exchange authorization within 5 business days. Once authorized, you must courier the product back in its original packaging to Katan Silk at the specified address within 5 days. The returned/exchanged product must be in its unused original condition, accompanied by the original bill and intact tags.

Our goal is to process all returns within 7 business days. You have the option to receive a full refund in the form of store credits or a refund to your original credit or debit card used for payment, subject to possible return shipping charges and a stocking fee. While we will initiate the refund process to your original card within 7 business days, please note that the exact timeline for bank processing is beyond our control.
